The Foodie Experiences, a much-anticipated highlight of the Dubai Food Festival (DFF), made its triumphant return, inviting visitors to explore hidden culinary gems, indulge in exquisite flavors, and immerse themselves in a realm where every meal is a masterpiece. From hands-on cooking classes led by renowned experts to collaborative four-hand dinners showcasing the synergy between international and local chefs, this series promised to delight every palate and deepen the love for food in Dubai’s culinary scene.

Running throughout DFF from April 19 to May 12, the Foodie Experiences shone a spotlight on a new culinary adventure each week, offering a captivating and diverse journey through Dubai’s gastronomic landscape. During the first week (April 19-26), visitors indulged in Fine Dining experiences featuring renowned chefs from acclaimed venues. These included Four Hands Dinners at Asil, featuring a fusion of Greek and Arabesque cuisines, and an exquisite eight-course dinner at Raia Restaurant & Lounge showcasing Mediterranean and Lebanese flavors by Executive Chef Sonu Koithara x Chef Greg Malouf. Other highlights included a Chef’s Table at Alici, Tasting Menus at Belcanto and Il Borro Tuscan Bistro with exclusive wine pairings, a Pastry Masterclass at Josette, and an Experiential Dining Event at Seva Table with Chef Kiki.

Week two (April 27 – May 4) focused on family-friendly dining adventures, with activities such as pastry masterclasses, pizza[1]making sessions, and gimbap masterclasses. Experiential Dining Events, Tasting Menus, Masterclasses, and Culinary Collaborations continued to offer diverse experiences, catering to visitors of all ages.

Dubai Food Festival (DFF) 2024, spanning 23 delectable days, brought the city’s diverse cuisines to life through an exciting array of activations, special menus, events, competitions, and more. Whether craving authentic Emirati flavors, homegrown concepts, international fine dining, or family-friendly hotspots, DFF offered delicious experiences for every age, palate, and budget. Now in its 11th edition, DFF 2024 featured returning favorites such as Dubai Restaurant Week, Foodie Experiences, Beach Canteen, and 10 Dirham Dish, alongside new additions like Chef’s Menu and Gault&Millau’s inaugural Culinary Innovators.

In the final week (May 5-12), Foodie Experiences shifted their focus to couples and friends, offering tantalizing dining experiences such as Experiential Dining Events, Four Hands Dinners, Culinary Collaborations, Tasting Menus, Masterclasses, and Chef’s Tables. From a four-course menu and kitchen tour at 11Woodfire to a five-course culinary journey at Girl & The Goose, visitors were treated to unforgettable culinary adventures curated by top chefs.

Whether craving fine dining, family-friendly fun, or a cozy outing with friends, Foodie Experiences had it all. The event promised a culinary journey like no other, showcasing Dubai’s vibrant dining scene and celebrating the city’s diverse cuisines until May 12, 2024.

Organized by Dubai’s Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DFF aimed to bolster Dubai’s position as a global gastronomic hub, showcasing the city’s ever-evolving dining scene and culinary prowess. With a city-wide program of activations, special menus, events, and promotions, DFF celebrated its 11th edition by offering something for every palate and price point, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a world[1]class tourism destination with year-round family entertainment, shopping, and culinary experiences.
